THIERRY LASRY for STEFFIE CHRISTIAENS ‘Gyrolyte 00′

Yesterday, we started the day off with our bi-annual visit from rockstar designer, Thierry Lasry; for an exclusive first look at his  F/W2012 collection! …and we don’t mind telling you that the Gogosha crew were squealing like schoolgirls in anticipation of the awesomeness we were about to see.

Always true to his “futuristic vintage” sensibility, his ‘cat-eye’ has never been stronger or sexier! With names like Orgasmy, Divinity, Virginity and Angely, Lasry’s new cat eye is both 50′s sweater girl and modern day vixen. While the new classic square in his collection, the Policy, is one of the most flattering we’ve ever seen.

The girls couldn’t resist having their photos snapped with their favorite models… as you can check out below.

One final treat was the THIERRY LASRY for STEFFIE CHRISTIAENS ‘Gyrolyte 00′.  More than just an editorial piece, I fits like a glove and is the epitome of creative minimalism. Which Julia wears above in triptych.

While Elton John’s Pepsi Super Bowl Commercial played to huge fanfare, the ladies behind the perfect eyewear choice for ‘The King of Queens’, more than likely sat amongst their r.e.s.p.e.c.t.i.v.e. friends, nibbling on chicken wings and pizza, modestly gazing upon their handiwork with much deserved smiles on their faces… as a few viewers around the nation ogled in optical wonder.

Julia Gogosha-Clark started wearing glasses at age 5. And by 15, her increasing affinity for glasses lead her parents to make the decision that if she wanted them, she would have to buy them. And buy them she did. Julia began working as an optician at age 18. She loved it right away.
